Now that Roosters is gone, the only biker bars on the north side I am familiar with are Yankee's and Drifters. I also like Pops on 494 north of Humble. If I get thirsty/hungry between Yankees and Pops I stop at Papa's on the Lake, but they seem to merely tolerate bikers.
But this leaves a huge gap between Humble Tx and Carlos, Tx.
Are there any biker bars on the North-Central (Conroe area) and North-East side (Cleveland)? I am talking the whole area north of Houston, but eastward from Carlos.
I am looking for something similar to Pops or Yankees - when you pull in there will be 10 other bikes there, special bike parking, etc.
Thanks in advance HBOT

Chainsaw, you can try The Beer Joint, which is just down 1488 from where Rooster's used to be. It's a yellow building on the right side about half a mile from the 1488/2978 intersection.
Also, Borsky's on 75 between Willis and New Waverly (Shepard Hill exit). I am sure there are others that will get posted here.

Road Dawgs just opened up on Hwy 321 on the east side, just a few miles north of Dayton. Some bikes park around back so you may not see scooters when you pull in. No grill but free food on Sunday's. Gave me a discount for wearing the HOG chapter vest the other evening.
There's Porkchops just south of Point Blank. which is geared specifically for bikers. Nice place, has a grill.
Hilltop is NW of Point Blank on Hwy 190. Grill.
There's Thirsty's Icehouse, 192 FM 3083 (off Hwy 105 East) out of Conroe.
Henry's Hideout, FM 1774 Between Magnolia & Plantersville - Fetzer, TX.

Geezer Glide what's the name of that new biker bar down the street from your subdivision on FM1314? I haven't seen a name put on it yet, but always see a few scooters parked in front.

Track Shack in Spring off the Hardy, just south of Old Town Spring.
Another bar, sorry forgot the name, is west of 59 on Greens rd. Humble.
You also have a few off Hwy 105 in Conroe or Dalton near Texan.
A few bars in The Woodlands also.
Go up north out of Dayton one can also find a few holes to stop at.
Just slow down and smell the beer. In the past I have stopped a bars in the middle of nowhere and I was the only bike in the lot. After a while other riders would see the motorcycle parked out front and stop in. One just never knows.

there's one that opened recently behind us. it's on fm 1725 (out of cleveland) between tony tapp road and fm 3081. maybe a mile from tony tapp. i believe the name of it is the backwoods grill. bob stopped in while on a toy run a couple weeks ago and said it could have future potential, and would like for the 2 of us to go back and check it out. if you're riding 945 south, there's a little grocery about halfway down the road. (approx. 7-8 miles from either end of 945). it used to be b&i grocery, but was bought by a man named sam houston. it's now houston's grocery and they've opened a little (like tiny) cafe next door. bob and i have never eaten there, but it sho' smells good! sam rides a road king, so i have to assume they're biker friendly. ;D

Another bar, sorry forgot the name, is west of 59 on Greens rd. Humble. That would be Hoot County..........I probably hit this place once or twice a week...........usually after work 10/10:30pm........its a hole in the wall......but friendly wait staff (easy on the eyes) this is just an ice house with setups........they also operate a full bar at a place called Hoot County Saloon on JFK north of the beltway....again sexy friendly wait staff. D

There's a couple of other places: Pork Chops & Hill Top off FM 156 near Lake Livingston. Another one I believe the name is Thunder Saloon on FM 1488 appr. 12miles west of Magnolia in a community called Field store.
